Project WET & WILD Educator Workshops
Join us at the Elm Fork Education Center for
2026 Summer Camp for Teachers
We will present 2 days of hands-on educator workshops in using Project WILD and Project WET materials in your classroom, clubroom, or learning space.
Project WILD is an interdisciplinary conservation and environmental education program emphasizing wildlife. The goal of Project WILD is to assist learners of any age in developing awareness, knowledge, skills, and commitment resulting in informed decisions, responsible behavior, and constructive actions concerning wildlife and the environment.
Project WET: Water in Earth Systems is an interdisciplinary curriculum based on the second Water Literacy Principle-- Water Connects All Earth’s Systems. It connects Earth’s systems by moving through the water cycle—linking the atmosphere, land, and oceans. It shapes landscapes, supports life, and influences weather and climate by storing and transporting heat around the planet.
Each day will focus on a specific Project, and we will create and build a “take-back-to-class” kit to get you started. You can sign up for just one day or for both.
Dates: Project WILD Thursday, May 28 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Project WET: Water in Earth Systems Friday, May 29 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Snacks, water (both bottled and refill station), and parking are provided both days. Bring a sack lunch. Dress for indoor and outdoor activities.
Fees: $35 for single day, $65 for both
Includes: Project WILD curriculum guide (Day 1), Project WET: Water in Earth System curriculum guide (Day 2), all created materials, and educator certificates (5 CEUs each)
